Full Migration Complete
I thought it’ll take more time, but the migration from a CSS-based website to a WordPress-based one took less than a day, apparently. Well, indrayudha.net version 3.0 is Live now, though still in BETA mode. I think it’ll be fun playing around with this new and neat technology that is WordPress, and I do hope that it will be the case.
I have archived version 2.0 here, in case you miss the old version or need to find something.
In the midst of migration, I learned about WordPress’ permalinks and how it’ll help to improve navigability and search-engine friendliness. So I chose the popular year / month / topic format for my permalinks and we’ll see if there’s more results from search engine clicks, which I intend to track via Google Analytics, once I get to its working.
Lastly, WordPress enables me to simplify site structure by moving its core codes into separate folder, freeing the root from gobbledigook. I have implemented this structure into the other three sites under my supervision, and probably the most of the time taken was waiting for the upload/download processes.
